The HALOGRAPH Automatic is a living time machine. YOU are the power source.
Don't we find ourselves instinctively drawn to the kinetic nature of a mechanical watch? Its gears transfer force upon one another, interacting with the natural conditions of our universe, just like our muscles and bones. It ticks with a beating heart, just like us.
The HALOGRAPH Automatic lives on mechanical energy. It's not an electronic gadget: it's a mechanical heirloom. It doesn't need batteries or updates to do its work while summoning compliments and sparking conversation everywhere you go. All it needs is YOU!
Like the chambers of a beating mechanical heart, the twin balance wheels pump life into this complex time machine. Seeing the action of a living machine on your wrist gives a thrill no electronic gadget can.
The HALOGRAPH Automatic is powered by your daily life, storing up to 36 hours of energy from a simple flick of your wrist. A beating mechanical heart pumps life through this complex machine. You can view the rotor generating the power supply for its mechanical movement through a crystal porthole on the back of the case.
A smartwatch starts to die as soon as its circuitry is activated, and its functional obsolescence starts as soon as it's off the assembly line. A mechanical watch will never be obsolete. It will always connect you in a meaningful way with this moment in time. With the HALOGRAPH Automatic, we think we've designed a v1.0 that 'nailed it' the first time, and will be as exceptional in form and function in hundreds of years as it is now.
The HALOGRAPH is super easy to read. As the Halo Hands float over the four, dimensional hemicycle time display arcs, they encircle the numbers of the current time. The inner arcs display the hours, the outer arcs displays the minutes.

Before buying my Silver Halograph I read a range of reviews. I'd like to briefly state the good and bad.
The good: Very thoughtful watch design. I think the watch is very well constructed with nice appointments.
It's my understanding the watch was designed in the US, but, manufactured in China. However, don't confuse this watch with something less than quality. Very cool looking for sure.
The bad: I ordered my watch through the Xeric website and paid for my order using Bolt a 3rd party credit card processor. There was some mix up, which, caused some confusion for me. I sent Xeric an email and within a day the mix up was straightened out. Not flawless, but, ok; reasonable response time.
Watch has been working great, seams to keep very good time, and I can't quit looking at it!
I hope this review is useful for both the Xeric company and future customers.
I haven't been disappointed in my purchase.

I'm very happy with this little artwork .I bought two pieces and there are really beautiful. But I'm less happy that I didn't receive a little book with information about the watches and how to use. This detail I really missing.
I hope when I order the next (quadrant ) I receive some info. All together, fast service, beautiful watches, Artwork for acceptable price, Only I missing little info book!
BUT CONGRATULATIONS XERIC AND THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE BEAUTIFUL WATCHES!YOU HAVE A COSTUMER FOR LIVE!!!

A different way to measure time. Great idea with stunning manufacturing.
A little bit heavy for small wrists, the central second wheel would have gained to be of an other color. Date indicator as a future feature ?

Xeric Halograph this is beautiful and very poetic and original. view profile evokes a dome or part of flying saucer. Vertically depending on the position of the needles at times evokes a kind of religious cross. The bracelet is very nice and is based on the principle of Hirsch bracelets (made in Austria) with leather on the outside and silicone or rubber inside, providing a much better resistence to perspiration and a comfort.
There is a quartz version, but for aesthetical beauty of the model, I find that the automatic version is required.
A success ! I recommend it. I chose the automatic version silver.
